AED TRAINING
DEFIBRILLATOR Training in Middlesbrough
What is …
The most common reason for a heart to stop (cardiac arrest) is a ‘heart attack’. If a heart attack (or other cause) results in cardiac arrest, it is often due to the heart’s electrical impulses being interrupted. This means that the heart quivers chaotically instead of beating in a coordinated rhythm.
An AED is a safe and reliable device that can analyse heart rhythms and enable a non-medically qualified rescuer to safely deliver the life-saving shock. The use of an AED can dramatically increase survival chances but it must be used promptly. Our defibrillator training in Middlesbrough is taught on site for your convenience.
What course covers …
The course lasts approximately 2 hours and covers basic life support CPR for babies, children and adults as well as hands on use of various types of Defibrillators.
